A plan of making shows that you are
well organised when you are making. With a plan of making you will prove that
you can plan the activity of making and take into consideration how you will
check for errors as you work and that you are evaluating what you are doing as
you go.

I recommend that you do your plan of
making for your PCB but you could do it for the case if you prefer.
I have filled in the first line of this form to give you
an idea of what kind of things to write…
Here is an example

12/01/07 |
Print my PCB layout onto acetate |
1 x A4 sheet of acetate, printer, Photo copier, CAD file of my PCB
layout, black permanent marker pen and ruler. |
Low risk. Make sure photo copier is operated safely. Do not look
at light! |
Will need to get help to use the photo copier. Will need to be
very careful when drawing with marker pen. |
Make sure that I do not touch the acetate after it has printed,
so that I don’t smudge them. Check for any breaks in tracks |
The photocopy of my PCB layout was not dark enough and the
teacher said it would not give the best results so I re drew over some of the
lines with a black marker to make them darker |
